Committee meeting Wednesday

There is a meeting of the club committee on Wednesday 26th November at 7:30pm at the Barn in CMK; any member with something to raise can contact a committee member, or even discuss coming along to make their point!

Mixed results on 9th November

The 1st team are unfortunately out of the EKA Cup after the trip to London - a 10-3 loss to a tall Manchester Warriors team meant that the 8-4 win over Highbury 3 in our other pool match was not enough.
Our League MK team was kicking off just as the 1st team were finishing, and managed a good 13-5 win over MKX (with Adam scoring 6 goals! Plus two each for Natasha on her Bucks debut, Clive and Monique, and one for Mary), but were then, in the second game, edged out 8-5 in the top-of-the-table clash with Luton Hatters (Jon top-scoring with 2 goals, the other goals from Adam, Tall Paul and Sarah).

Good OKA results

No MK Bucks team has yet lost to a non-MK team in the Oxfordshire League! The only loss has been when the 1st and 2nd teams played each other, with the 1sts unsurprisingly coming out on top. The 1st and 3rd teams have also picked up wins against Reading 1 and 2, while the 2nds had an impressive 12-6 win against Oxford Isis.

League MK success

Our League MK team got off to a good start yesterday, with wins 8-6 over Colossus (an MK City team) and 4-3 (or was it 5-4?) over Wallabies (unsurprisingly an MK Roos team).

Great start to the OKA season

The 2nd and 3rd team both pulled off impressive wins in the first OKA games of the season, defeating Oxford City 1 and 2 by the scorelines of 8-7 and 9-7 respectively. Well done to everyone who played!

Beginners Taster Session 25th September

We are holding a FREE beginners taster session in training on Thursday Sept 25th, as part of the Bucks Sport "Reactivate Bucks" campaign. All welcome - come along and try this great sport!

Indoor training starts again on Thursday 11th September at Courtside. New players wanted including beginners!
The 2008/09 Oxfordshire league fixtures have now been set, so we are just sorting out the MK League and Midlands Regional League fixtures, and will put everything online when it is all sorted!
